Dear Sir or Madame,
My name is Viraj Kamdar. I was born in Rajkot, State of Gujrat, but have been living in New York for the past 23 years. For the course of one month this summer (July) I would like to travel to Banglore and experience India with my family and friends. During this time I would also like to learn Hindi. I can speak and understand ( a bit) of Gujrati but nothing else. I would be willing to devote 6 hours a day, five days a week, for four weeks to the study of Hindi. I am looking for a teacher or school (preferable) with the time and resources to accomodate me. Looking for a Hindi Teacher/Tutor to come to our home daily for an hour to teach our 5 year old son. We have recently moved to Bangalore and are living in Indranagar. Our son is interested in learning Hindi (complete beginner). One of his motivations to learn Hindi, is that he loves to watch the hindu mythology stories (Ramayana, etc.) on T.V. (which are in Hindi), and he would like to be able to understand the stories better.
