I am a man in my sixties from Canada who will be visiting Casablanca during April/May 2006 for four weeks. I do have some understanding of Arabic alphabets and I know those arabic words which are common to Urdu,which is my first language. I will be spending few months every year in Casablanca and would like to be able to speak and write in the language. I do speak French as well,therefor e, I can communicate with teachers in either English or French. I would like to spend as much as four hours a day for four weeks to learn Arabic. I would like to be in touch with an experienced language teacher of either sex who is available during the period of my visit and whose fee is reasonable.

Hello
I am searching for a teacher of Arabic in Cardiff. My son (aged 9) has expressed a wish to learn Arabic over the last few months and seems quite adamant. He is a very bright boy - top of his class in mathematics, learns welsh, gets distinctions in his music exams.
We do not know any arabic family here and i can only imagine that this has come from the holidays we have had in Tunisia and enjoyed very much.
I would be grateful if you could recommend a Teacher of Arabic who lives in Cardiff whom i can contact.

I am a beginner. My fiance is Moroccan and I wish to learn his language so that I can speak with him in his native tongue and converse with his family. So, conversation is what I'd like to focus on. I am willing to dedicate whatever time is necessary to learn as much as possible before my next trip there (tentatively scheduled for late December 2005). I am seeking to learn 'Moroccan arabic' or as near as possible to it. I have worked in the country and I have many contacts there,so I would like to know a bit of 'Maghrebi'.I am a complete beginner with only a bit of vocabulary. I would be willing to spend time for two classes per week..until i feel that I have the foundations covered. I am looking for simple teaching, good ground-work, and person to person style sessions.
