i am learning english for both my academic needs and self-satisfac tory as well as a buying an insurance for my future as i plan to go overseas.
my proficiency level would be an intermediate. Areas that i peculiarly have to improve in urgent is my grammar,knowl edge in wide topics,vocabu lary,ability of construction of sentences,pro nunciation of words,and accent.
on e to two hours per week with practices that i can do continuously thorough the whole week.

I am an expat of two years in Kuala Lumpur. I plan a long term stay in Malaysia and would like to get a good handle on the language. I consider myself to be a beginning student, however, I have picked up a lot of vocabulary since I arrived to Malaysia in 2008. I want to improve my every day conversation, as well as improve my sentence structures both written and oral. I can read and get the gist of the situation, conversation, or event. I want to be able to understand everything I read. I also want to have a firm understanding of prefixes and suffixes that words have. I had a BM class towards the end of 2010, but the teacher was inconsistent so I decided to find another teacher. I live in Ampang and work in KL. The weekends work best for me as I work during the week. I am ok with both Saturday and Sunday for classes. I am looking for a teacher who is dedicated to our meeting times, can communicate clearly, provides good reading material and homework, and who is patient.
