I am a beginner in Portuguese, but I do speak spanish fluently. I will be traveling to Brazil in December with a friend who is a native of Brazilia and I would like to be able to communicate. I have a lot of time this summer break and would appreciate a teacher who is motivating, teaches well, and has a sense of humor.

I am a beginner in Portugese, but I speak fluent Spanish so I have a good knowledge of the grammar of Portugese. I know that some of the vocabulary is quite similar to Spanish as well. I will be travelling to Portugal in July, and likely to Brazil some time in the future too, and I've always wanted to learn Portugese. I'd like to learn conversationa l Portugese. I can study some evenings right now -- Wednesdays and Fridays only until the middle of this month, when I will be free during the daytime on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays until 4 PM, and the whole day on Wednesdays and Fridays. I'd prefer not to have class on the weekends.
I would like a teacher who puts emphasis on conversation and who is very relaxed and easy-going, as well as encouraging.
I am a language teacher as well, and I appreciate very much when the teacher is prepared for the lessons too.
