I am interested in learning Portuguese, because as a child I use to speak the language. My grandfather is from Portugal and he spoke Portuguese to us. I speak very little, I want to grammatically learn the language, and converse properly. I wish to also visit Portugal with in the next 3-5 years...
I can only dedicate about 2-3 hours a week for the time being, due to work. But in the near future (maybe by winter time - hopefully!) I would like to invest 4.5 - 5 hours a week.
Definite quality from my teacher is patience, creativity in teaching, and some humor.

I've just come back from a month in Brasil and fell in love with the country so would love to learn more about this country, starting with the language. I'm also keen on moving to Brasil within a year or two so this is also a preparation for the transition.
I've never learnt Portuguese before but speak Spanish and French so understand a lot and was able to have simple conversations with friends by the time I left Brasil.
I'm looking for a teacher who will help me to become a bit more fluent and mostly teach me conversation, either through private lessons or group classes. The teacher needs to be enthusiastic and the learning useful.
