Greetings! I am an Egyptian-Amer ican journalist who recently moved to Cairo to report on the Middle East. Previously, I was based in Iraq for two years. I can read Arabic fairly well and have a large vocabulary, however I want to focus on grammar and especially the Egyptian dialect. Most of my Arabic is the Gulf dialect because I grew up in the United Arab Emirates and spent so much time in Iraq. Now, I want to become proficient at Egyptian Arabic. In addition, I would be interested in learning conversationa l Persian if there is a suitable tutor in Cairo, as my job will also include occasional trips to Iran.
My job requires frequent travel to respond to news in the region, so I am looking for a private tutor with a very flexible schedule.
