Hello
My name is Kieran Garratt and I am looking to learn the Polish language. My reasons for this vary, my partner is Polish and although she speaks fluent English I would like to converse with her in both languages and raise our children to speak both. Also her parents and extended family speak minimal English, this is frustrating for me as I want to get to know them more.
I have a very amateur grasp of the language, I feel I understand more of what I hear than what I can actually say in reply. I know alot of words but I lack basic sentance/conv ersation structure. Grammar is also something I need correct tutoring for.
I hope to dedicate a few hours with a teacher and also time in private per week to learn.
I am a person who works generally from 6am to 5pm fulltime. I am willing to travel after work to get tutored of course. Ideally I would like a teacher who will have energy and parcticality in their teaching, I am a quick learner but sometimes lack confidence.

My husband and I have been asked to transfer our jobs to Beijing. We would like to start learning Mandarin before we leave Australia (sometime in January). We live in the western suburbs of Brisbane.
