1.) My proficiency level would be beginner.
2. ) I am a chef on a sail boat that travels between the Caribbean & the Mediterranean . We will be spending some time in Italy this season.
3.) I would like to learn conversation Italian to start & then perhaps I could progress from there.
4.) I would like to take 3 - 1 hour classes per week for the next 5 to 6 weeks that I will be at home in Canada.
5.) I would like a patient teacher since languages have never been a strong point for me.

I currently live and work near Pisa and am interested in taking private Italian language lessons. Due to my work schedule, I can only take lessons one to two times per week in the evenings. I have already taking the first level university Italian language course and would now like to continue my proficiency. My job requires me to work with Italian speaking individuals and read technical documents. Please let me know if you have a program available that might meet these requirements. I am looking to learn Italian for a trip to Italy in 2011. I would like to be comfortable with Italian conversation and be able to easily communicate in restaurants, stores, and on tours. I am traveling with 5 other people. I would be interested in having group instructions. We would all be beginners with no prior knowledge of the Italian language. I am looking for an instructor who can teach in a group and has experience with travel in Italy.

Al the language schools we tried, only have class in the evening. We have other activities on weekdays 5pm-7.30pm and on Saturdays 1pm-6pm
