I am learning Hindi since two years now. I can read and write Devenagari and I have been studying the grammar for one year at university. I have been travelling in India for 8 months and while being in the country I took the opportunity to practise the language. I consider myself as a student belonging to the intermediate level. I am looking for a teacher with whom I can have good practise (conversation in the first place but also grammar and reading/writi ng exercises).

Absolutely a beginner but am very eager to learn the Hindi and some day Punjabi languages.
I want to learn Hindi and Punjabi for two reasons. One I work in an environment where the quantitiy of Indian colleagues is increasing and the culture fascinates me. Two, I have met someone who is from Northern India and we are becoming fast friends. I would like to be able to communicate with him in Hindi (and eventually Punjabi).
At this point in time I am focusing on conversationa l learning only.
At least an hour a day - more on the weekends.

To whom it may concern,
I am looking for prospective hindi teachers who can teach me hindi.
How ever, I have no prior knowledge in the language, except - mere acceptable pronounciatio n. Thus it has to be from the beginner's level.
and I wish this because, solely, I love the language, but haven't had any prior opportunities to learn it.
And the time that I wish to dedicate for this learning will have to be limited to the weekends (or week days in the latter part of the day/night) since I have other engagements to attend.
Si nce this is something I very well wish to learn, I wish that the tutor is also somewhat well versed and eager to teach in the language.
