I recently returned from a 2 year stay in Sao Paulo, Brasil.I don't want to lose the language proficiency I achieved while I was there and in fact would like to improve my language skills. I am at an intermediate level. I really need to work on grammar, reading and writing.
I would like to work with a native speaker and I would like the class content to be about current events, art and culture (Brasilian of course). I would like to spend at least 2 hours a week on course work.

I would love to learn portuguese. This is a language I hear almost everyday and I feel like I want to communicate with others. I go to church here in Orlando, Florida in potuguese and I take this as a way of learning the language. I know two languages (english and spanish) and want to learn more languages. Knowing more languages will help me with the people that surround me and with future college entries and jobs. I can dedicate as much time needed to learn portuguese. I want to learn how to speak, read and write portuguese. In a lesson I want as much attention as my teacher can pay to me because I really want to learn.
