I am visiting Italy in September/oct ober for 10 days and woul like to learn some basics. I am a beginner. I would like to do a 6 week course for 1-2 hr a week before sep 20. One on one from home would be ideal. I am looking for someone who will be able to teach me a little about the grammar and to get me by as a traveller .

I am an opera singer and need to learn Italian to further my studies and open the possibility of work in Italy.
I have been singing in Italian for many years and know a lot of old 'opera italian'. However, I do not know the basics of the language.
So while I have a lot vocabulary versus a beginner student, my grammar level is beginner.
I have a strong background in languages and would favour an approach to Italian that is accelerated and focused on mastery of grammar. A teacher who will teach standard Italian rather than a dialect is preferred.
Lessons in the evenings or weekends of 1-3 hours.

Hi,
I am currently interested in learning the Italian language woth my fiance. My father is Italian and have travelled to Italy a number of times, but really still need to basic training. My fiance is at a beginning level. We are getting married next year and are planning our honeymoon to Italy so would like to have a basic knowledge of the language by them.
