I am a Community Relations Officer for JPMorgan Chase covering all of Manhattan who would like to learn Mandarin to better communicate with the large asian population that I serve in Chinatown. I am fluent in Spanish and English so I am more than capable of handling those cultures that speak those two languages.
I am a true beginner looking to learn conversationa l and some business Mandarin to better serve my territory.
I would like to spend an hour 2 to 3 times a week ( one on one) learning the language with a teacher that is patient and good at teaching beginners.

My level-- intermediate
Need to learn more because I go to Hunter college and i am trying to finish my accounting major.
The areas I need to concentrate on are grammar and conversation.
I want to dedicate as much time as possible, maybe an hour a day..or two a day.
I need a tutor who will be patient with me and help me out alot because I really need conversation skills and grammar skills. Please be patient with me, I am not a young person who is able to learn easy, I am a mother of two daughters and I need someone who will understand me and be patient with me.

I am a musician, and Composer. I am looking for a native Brazilian-Por tuguese tutor. I will be traveling to Brazil in 2 months to study the African influences in the native music, and would like to have some basic conversationa l Portuguese in order to converse with the Cariocas.
I will be there for a month so it is VERY important for me. I can understand and speak Spanish pretty well.
I would like to study on an hourly basis, but I cannot commit to weekly lessons. I am out of town quite a bit. However I would not mind more than one lesson in a week.
I will need a tutor with LOT'S of patience. I have the worst memory!!
