I am a beginner. My best friend is from Belo Horizonte, Brasil, and I have visited the country twice. I love it there, and plan on going back as often as possible. So, I figured, why not learn the language?
I am very good at picking up pronunciation s. I had five years of French in high school, though I have lost much of it now. I can still read and understand it, but my speaking and vocabulary are pretty bad.
I would be willing to dedicate an hour or two per week to classes. I am looking for a personal tutor, who does sessions in person.

To who might be interested,
i'm looking to find portuguese lessons, spoken and written, i am beginners level but speak spanish fluently. I would prefer to have the courses in a small group, once or twice a week, starting september 2004. My need comes from personal interest in this beautiful language and the interest of enriching my abilities. Myself and my partner have been working in The Hague for 1 year. We are relocating to Portugal next year to start a business and therefore need to learn Portuguese.
