I came from China, nearly finish grade 1 there, I moved to Dubai to live with my parent. To get in local school here I need study English. Currently, I can speak some words and simple sentence, but can't read and understand.

I believe to remain monolingual is to stunt my career development, to restrict my communication and thinking abilities, and to deny myself the ability to fully appreciate and understand the world in which I live. The reasons I'm learning another language are to open up new opportunities and to expand my personal horizons.
