I am an English Philosophy graduate interested in learning Hindi to enable me to better communicate during a volunteering placement in India this summer.
As yet i have no knowledge of Hindi but am looking to improve as much as possible over about two weeks from the 12th to the 23rd of July. The amount of time i would wish to devote to lessons would vary on whether it is one-to-one or group lessons that are on offer.
I would like an experienced and able teacher to help me learn this very tricky language!

Hello. Almost two years ago I visited India for one month with my daughter. I learned a few words before going, but have wanted to learn the language since returning for many reasons. I plan to return for another visit(s) and hope to possibly do some business in the future. My daughter also has a desire to learn the language. I have over the past year searched for a Hindi instructor in Seattle, but have had no luck. Today I did another search and came upon this website. I am looking for a teacher who speaks both Hindi and English well. The Seattle area would be great, but if the instructor is from the eastside that is ok too. I might be up for travel or they could visit my home to teach both my daughter and I. I am hoping for at least one lesson a week (possibly two at the start of instruction). This will also depend upon the cost. Some phone and e-mail lessons would be ok too. What I need is someone to keep me on task with some structured lessons...som eone who can teach me the sounds...some one to converse with. I want to learn Hindi!!!
