I would like to learn spanish for both career advancement and for travel/life goals. I am planning on moving to South America for work in 2012 and would like to be conversant in Spanish. I have basic travel Spanish at the moment.

Hello,
I am the parent and a five year old student who is beginning school. I am seeking a teacher/tutor to work with my child and teach him spanish. My reasons for doing so are so that he becomes a well rounded student and learns to communicate with people from other parts of the world. I chose spanish because the spanish-speak ing population in the U.S. is increasing and I would like to prepare him for the future. I realize that this is a pretty diffioult task to undertake. I am looking for someone who has taught children before and who already has a successful plan of how to approach this. I was assuming that 2, 1 hour long sessions per week may be good. I am not experienced at this so my assumption may be wrong. I am looking for guidance from an experienced professional as to if this is even a good idea. I have no idea what the typical cost would be so if someone could tell me that would help.

Hi, my name is Osamah and i want to learn either Spanish or French in order to broaden my knowledge and improve my chances to work at an embassy after graduating from university.
I chose Spanish or French because they are the closest two languages to my favorite language which is English.
I am a Beginner in French and totally new at Spanish, I might only know a few words like 'Hello' and 'thank you', in English i am VERY fluent because i have studied it for about 10 years.
I am currently not doing anything since no University has accepted me due to the amount of low seat counts so i have all my focus on learning a new language.
