My husband and I would like to begin taking Italian lessons. We are both interested in foreign languages (I have previously studied French, Latin, and Swedish)and, as we now have family living in Italy, would like to be able to converse with them in Italian. Because of the demands of work we would not be able to dedicate ourselves entirely to lessons, but several hours a week would be manageable--p erhaps an hour or two of lessons once a week or so and then lots of work on our own? The ideal teacher would be located in Edmonton or the surrounding area, would be flexible when dealing with a farmer's erratic schedule, and would have a sense of humor in dealing with total beginners.

I am just a beginner of the Italian language.
I am planning a trip to Italy in the fall and would like to learn 'conversation al Italian'. Enough to be able to understand and communicate with others.
I would like to spend 1-2 days of the week to this program.
I would like to learn as much as I can and as quick as I can, while having fun with it!!!
