I would like to find an Italian tutor on behalf of a small group of people. I am President of the Italian Society at Aberdeen University. We have many non-native Italians in the society who have expressed a keen desire to learn some basic level Italian. Unfortunately our university does not offer Italian as a degree course which is a great shame and this is why our society would like to offer some students to learn Italian.
The students who have approached me have various reasons for wanting to learn including to help with career prospects, because they have Italian family roots, or they simply like the language. The group would be beginner level and would probably consist of no more than 5 people.
The emphasis of learning would preferable to work on conversation skills but a general background of reading and writing would also be helpful.
We would be looking for a tutor to teach for an hour session one evening a week. It would also be required that the tutor would be able to travel to the university campus to give the lessons.
Ide ally, we are looking for a tutor who has a relaxed but professional approach to Italian language tuition.
