I want to gain a solid introduction to the language and then the culture of Thailand. I want to learn enough to prepare me to use simple Thai with assurance in everyday situations, as well as provide me with the essentials of grammar and vocabulary to build on the knowledge of Thai I gain from these lessons.
I really want to be able to speak and listen to Thai, so I can communicate effectively on everyday topics, such as:
• meeting people
• shopping
• food and drink
• interests
• likes and dislikes
• introduce myself and others and use basic expressions for meeting, greeting and saying goodbye
• engage in simple conversations and exchange personal information about my family, work, and nationality
• use numbers correctly, in the context of phone calls and money
• order drinks and foods in a restaurant
• invite people out
• show an understanding and appreciation of the values and customs of Thai-speaking communities
I am a complete beginner.

Good evening,
I am looking for private Italian lessons to learn the language.
I am a 41 yr old divorced male who lives alone, but has my 2 children for 2 weeks every month.
My daughter is 16 1/2 and doing Italian for her HSC. She has recently spent 3 monhs in Italy on exchange just oustide of Milan.
I have a few skeletons in the closet relating to my heritage and it does involve a paternal grandfather who is / was Italian.
P lease contact me re: availability and suitability to undertake private lessons.
M y level of speaking Italian is... very basic.
As I have 2 weeks out of 4 totally free, and the other 2 weeks limited, but not blocked out, I would like to spend as much time as practicable in learning Italian.
T he qualities I am looking for in a teacher would be that she have native experience in Italian and is experienced in the Italian culture and can relate real life experiences in her teachings.

I would love to speak Dutch again! Seven years ago I studied in the Netherlands for one year and I haven't spoken ever since. I used to be quite fluent but now I'm very rusty! So what I'm mainly after is a lot of talking and maybe a little bit of grammar. But not too much. =)
I would be available at the evening and I'm aiming for one hour a week.
