My proficiency level in Bahasa is beginner and am hoping to improve my communication and speaking skills before I head over to Indonesia. I am learning Indonesian with the purpose of helping there in an NGO. I am a beginner (but studied a month at UGM). I need improvement mainly in speaking and vocabulary. I want to dedicate one hour daily but don't need to meet the teacher more than twice a week. The quality I am looking for in the teacher is patience and adaptability with my way of learning.
