Dear sir/madam,
I am interested in learning the italian language due to the fact that i have met a lot of italian people through friends. I am not able to communicate with them in italian, of course we know english but recently their parents came from Italy and they don't know english, so we needed translator...
I have bought a month ago a book 'collins, speak italian', it has helped in understanding few words but i am still not able to use it properly, i found difficulties mainly with verbs. I am sure with the absence of practice, i won't be able to communicate properly.
Ho pe to find in you the teacher i need to put me on the right path to start with.

I have been studying Italian for a number of years, but at my age (!), I forget grammar points if I don't continually re-learn them. I have taken Italian 1,2, and 3 at Cabrillo College and have attended various classes at the Dante Society in Santa Cruz, but there aren't many venues available for continued study. I am learning Italian because I love the language and it keeps my mind in shape! I would like to meet once a week in person and am willing to work hard on homework during the rest of the week.(I work in Morgan Hill and get off at 2pm, so would like to meet after that.) I would like to review grammar, especially subjunctive, si impersonale and other points. I would also like to expand my very limited vocabulary.
