I am seeking a private tutor for French lessons. There will be two students being myself and my partner. Ideally the tutor will be able to come to our home, but this is negotiable. We are learning French as we are travelling to France at the start of December this year (2010), our main goal is to have a conversationa l level of French to be able to travel on our own. Once we have travelled to France the focus would then shift to building a formal knowledge of the French language, grammar etc, as we would like to learn the language properly.
We are both beginners, we have taken French 1A at the CAE which is 24 hours of group classes.
W e would take one or two lessons per week depending on the price.
We seek a teacher that is a native speaker and has an up to date knowledge of the language.

I am from Greece but i mooved to Australia few months ago cause of family and business.
No w i will stay here and i want to learn to speak english fluently.
My proficiency level i would say is intermediate. I went to English school in Greece for 6 years and plus i was working with tourism in Greece and i could practice myself a lot.
The areas that i feel that i need improvement is all the above and more, if i want to speak fluently.
Th e qualities that i am looking for from my teacher is, just to be a good teacher so i can learn better and faster.

I trade regularly with China and in fact visit there about every 6 weeks for a few days. I ould like to learn some basic Chinese Mandarin so that I can interact with my friends there. I am limited for time to join a class as I will have to interrupt my lessons for my trips. That is why I am interested in private lessons.
