I need to get basic control of Arabic for business purposes. In addition, I want wife and children to get instruction in basic conversationa l Arabic. Ideally we will be able to learn about the culture in the process.
I studied very basic Arabic years ago so I hope that the learning shouldn't be too difficult.
I would like to spend four to five hours a week learning the language. The teacher must have a full command of English and have solid experience working as a tutor. Also, the teacher must be able to work with children and adults.

I have no previous experience with Arabic, though I have been interested in both language and culture for some time. I want to devote whatever time is necessary, within reason. I do have a job in which my hours are flexible though not always the same. I am looking for a cheaper option due to minimal funds, so a group class would be preferred. As far as my professor is concerned, I learn best under discussion-ba sed tutoring. However, I am adept at many different styles of learning.
