Dear sir/madam,
I work in West Africa, and deal with natives daily. I have managed to teach myself Portuguese to a level where I can get my way around and have questions answered.
I need to become 100% comforable with the language and to firstly be efficient in conversationa l Portuguese. I am sure that grammer and writing will follow once you can speak well.
I visit South Africa and 'home' every 30 days, and will then have at least one hour per day available for training/clas ses.
I sincerely hope that there is someone that will be able to assist me fulfill this desire of mine in becoming efficient in Portuguese.

I have always wanted to speak French, because of the beauty of the language. I met someone at a conference and made a promise that I would learn the language. I have been learning slowly with interactice cd's, but prefer live interaction. I would be prepared to dedicate at least 4 hours a week to classes and then enything extra to read etc. The only qualities I am looking for in a teacher is that he or she must be able to be fluent in both English and French and be patient with beginners.

Presently, I haven't started any course in Italian yet because I'm looking for a place and a person to offer lessons. I'm interested in learning Italian to be able to speak a third language, put it on my CV for job applications in the tourism industry I'm studying. Because I haven't started any lessons yet, I need improvement in all areas of the language but just want to be able to have a conversation. About four hours a week will be sufficient and I need a teacher who has a passion for the culture and the language, has knowledge and experience regarding the language and teaching it.
