Hello
My name is Kieran Garratt and I am looking to learn the Polish language. My reasons for this vary, my partner is Polish and although she speaks fluent English I would like to converse with her in both languages and raise our children to speak both. Also her parents and extended family speak minimal English, this is frustrating for me as I want to get to know them more.
I have a very amateur grasp of the language, I feel I understand more of what I hear than what I can actually say in reply. I know alot of words but I lack basic sentance/conv ersation structure. Grammar is also something I need correct tutoring for.
I hope to dedicate a few hours with a teacher and also time in private per week to learn.
I am a person who works generally from 6am to 5pm fulltime. I am willing to travel after work to get tutored of course. Ideally I would like a teacher who will have energy and parcticality in their teaching, I am a quick learner but sometimes lack confidence.

I am interested in learning polish to advance in my career and reach out to the polish community in my area. I am a beginner. My goal is to be able to have a conversation with polish speaking people regaurding the medical clinic I work for. I am intrested in demographics, medical terms, inurance names and other things that will help me help the polish community recieve healthcare. I would like to dedicate 1 hour a week for class and mutiple hours a week in study time. I am looking for a patient person that understands my goals and can help me reach them.

My name is Nikki Majewski, I am a journalism student with Polish ancestry and would like to learn Polish so that I can communicate with my grandmother and one day live in Poland.
