I have wanted to learn a second language for quite some time, now my schedule and finances are at a point where it is now possible.
My reasons are personal, my partner is from Croatia, He and his family only speak Croatian to each other and this is something I would be a wonderful thing to do. I also have other family members, an Aunt and two cousins, that are Croatian. So I will have plenty of people to practice with once I learn.
The amount of hours I dedicate to lessons per week will depend on the cost of each lesson/hour. But I will dedicate several hours every week to practice at home where needed.
In a teacher I need someone who is patient with a complete beginner, but someone who is also firm with their students.

I have a Maltese partner and would love to surprise her and learn the language so we can talk together and have fun in her native language.
I am a complete beginer and would love to become very proficient in speaking Maltese.
I need to learn to be rpoficient in all aspects of the language.
As much time as would be recommended so I can practice it regularly and become proficient enough to be confident and fluent when I chose to converse using maltese.
I am looking for it to be fun, enjoyable and as close to Maltese as possible, for example when learning some languages it is very literal and not relivant when actualy talking to people who have the language as their primary means of communication .
I love being in Malta and we visit every two years and I would feel more part of the community and embrace the country more if I can speak fluently in Maltese, I fell its also more respectful to the Maltese people to speak to them in their native tongue in there homeland.
