I am married to a French national and am planning on immigrating to France. I have been trying to learn French on my own, using self learning text books, but haven't been able to go beyond a certain point. I am totally free in the month of March and would prefer intensive lessons for one month. The number of hours per day could depend on what you deem appropriate, I am willing to put in maximum hours, I have time at hand, and concentrate only on learning French during this period. I am a marine engineer by profession and am out sailing for five months after every three months vacation, so I cannot enrol in the regular courses, as it causes a break in the learning. I want to have a solid base so that I can carry on on my own, while I am out at work. I am not from Bangalore, but am planning to move to Bangalore for the sake of this French lessons and as I have mentioned, I need a tutor right away i.e. beginning earliest March first week.
I would expect the teacher to be helping me with conversation and grammer and to subject me to intensive teaching sessions as well getting me to do some homework and evaluating my progress with periodical tests.

Hello, I want to learn French because of what I am studying at the moment. I am a beginner but, I only want to be able to speak it. Being able to read isn't to important to me.
