I recently returned from a trip around the former Yugoslav states and most enjoyed Montenegro and Serbia, and after making so many friends from there, would like to go back some time soon, with a knowledge of Serbian.
I am a complete beginner, knowing only some words from a love of the Eurovision Song Contest, and am looking for a once a week type arrangement for lessons to help me become at least moderately fluent in the language.
I require nothing extremely specific in a teacher, other than experience with the language and enjoyment of teaching.

I am a rising senior at University of Pennsylvania interested in learning Serbo-Croatia n starting this summer and continuing through the academic year.
I would like to move to the Balkans to do research after I graduate in May, 2009.
This summer I will be in the Los Angeles area and possibly around Berkeley. I plan to go back to Philadelphia in early September.
