I am a beginner in the truest sense since I cannot speak it at all.

I plan on studying modern languages and japanese when i go to University. I will be taking Japanese as a new language, so I want to learn some of the language in order to prepare for University. I am a beginner,who the day to day greetings, as well as writing and reading the Kana characters. I need to improve in most areas of the language. I am prepared to do 1 or 2 lessons a week, so it does not interfer with my studies at college.

Hey this is Andrea Siow. I'm 18yrs this year.
Took japanese classes at Bunka 2 years ago. But group lessons really dont work for me, I didnt pick up much. Pretty much still a beginner.
Im free from 1st january 2010 onwards and would like to look for someone who could do lessons then at an affordable fee probably 2-3 times a week next yr. I'm very interested in the language and am willing to work hard. I really believe I need the right teacher to help me. I would hope to take the JPLT 4 sometime next year too.
I would like to master listening and reading japanese. It would be a dream come true.

Hi my name is Samantha Trezise and I would like to learn Japanese language.
The reason why I would like to learn this language is because I've always wanted to learn a second language like my parents have but my school/colleg e only has the teachings of French and Spanish, and those two languages didn't really provoke me to learn and study them, it just didn't catch my interest and neither did any of the others.
I started wanting to learn Japanese when my friend introduced me to manga/anime and Japanese dramas and ever since then I have wanted to go to Japan and learn the Japanese language.
If I learned this language I would no doubt go and live in Japan for a year just to get an experience in different culture and to test myself. It would also help me with getting respect and making my parents proud.
I am a beginner who would dedicate my self to a two to three hour lesson once a week, due to I have work all the other days. And I am looking for a tutor/teacher who has at least basic knowledge in speaking the language
E.g. sentences, general chit chat, basic knowledge with romaji and characters
