I want to learn Vietnamese purely as a personal goal, and because I am interested in the culture. I speak absolutely no Vietnamese, so I would be a beginner. I have approximately 1 to 2 hours per week to dedicate to the learning of the language at the beginning. I want the teacher to be personable and encouraging, but especially motivating.

I the last three years, I have been frequent visitor to Vietnam. I have friends and relatives that kive there but I cant communicate with them.
I would like to learn conversationa l Vietnamese, so that I can communicate with members of my wifes family. I would like to learn with a tutor on a one on one basis. Clases can be after hours or on the weekend. Once a week would be adequate. I am happy to pay for the tuition. I can also travel.
