I plan to move to Berlin at the end of December 2009 to be with my German wife(married a few weeks ago) and think it would be useful to get an injection of learning in that period. I am slightly more avanaced than a pure beginner. I would like to concentrate of conversation, but being very much a visual learner feel that this woul have to be combined with written work as well.
I can dedicate possibly two evenings per week Mon,Tue,Wed,T hu. I am looking for a structured appraoch to learning that will compliment the time that I have given that I have a full time job during the day.

I am a beginning German student. I want to learn German for the following reasons:
1 . Personal interest
2. Career advancement
3. Academic research
I could use a lot of help in all areas of Arabic including pronunciation , grammar, and vocabulary.
I have a fairly flexible schedule and would be interested in dedicating up to 5 hours/week to language lessons.

I am an intermediate/ advanced Spanish student. I studied for five years in middle school and high school. I took a three week course in Spain and have travelled to Mexico on multiple occasions. I want to learn Spansih for the following reasons:
1 . Personal interest
2. Career advancement
3. Academic research
I could use some help in all areas of Spanish, but would especially like to focus on advanced grammar and Spanish literature, as well as expanding my vocabulary.

I wish to become intermediate speakers in both Japanese and Korean. I know a few basics in both. I'll be applying to go to one of the two for my Sophmore year, so it would be good to know more of the basics of both so whatever I decide I know how to get around speaking, reading and understanding .
Chinese/Can tonese I would like to know just the mere basics for survival while im on a trip.
German I would like to know due to my heritage and I would like to visit sometime.
