I am a beginner, who has learned some basic words in Russian. I am married to a Russian and I would like to be able to share with him his culture and a good way of doing that is learning his native tongue. I am South American and my mother tongue is Spanish, my husband learned Spanish to be able to communicate with me in my own language so I would like to reciprocate. Therefore my interest is to improve my conversation skills. I am prepared to dedicate a couple of hours a week in class and some 5 to 7 hours a week to study, due to a hectic work schedule it would be impossible to commit to more than that.
I am looking for a teacher who puts emphasis in conversation, however rudimentary, but I feel that if you don't practice the language you are trying to learn, and focus only in the grammar, it is very difficult to learn to express yourself in that language.

i am interested in learning Russian.My proficiency level is around the beginning level. I want to learn Russian because my boy friend and his family are from Russia and i would like to communicate better in Russian. I think i need to improve on every aspect in the Russian language.
