I would like to learn languages for professional use. My proficiency is beginner. All areas are very important; reading, writing, and speaking. I can dedicate up to 8 hours to language training per week although 6 is probably more realistic. I want a language instructor who is efficient and has a methodical and progressive program to learn a language.

I am a professional looking to learn Persian and Pashto, and have had exposure to Pashto I have a basic understanding of the Farsi and Dari dialects, and am not opposed to learning the Tajik dialect as well. I would like to become fluent to the degree that I can adequately speak and understand when someone converses with me. Additionally, I would like to be able to understand various forms of media (both written and aural). I am open to as much time as the instructor will provide. I would like a teacher that is professional as well as patient and laid back, and can convey essential cultural understanding across cultural and linguistic lines and barriers.

I like the challenge of learning a new alphabet. I also am trying to improve my people and career advancement skills. My focus is to learn to read and write. My preference is the online work because I do not think I can get to the classroom from where I live. I Have learned romance languages for business but I am changing languages for business. Although I want to learn this overnight, but I need take the alphabet and numbers slowly. I do not know how many hours a week the lessons amounts to 20? 30? A woman may be easier to understand, but I do not have a preference in gender. Thanks
