I am learning Hawaiian because I intend to move there at some point, and hopefully use it in my career. I have friends who are native Hawaiians, and I would love to be able to chat with them in their mother tongue sometimes. I also believe that it is important that native and non native Hawaiians alike should learn the language, culture, and history of this beautiful land, and continue to pass that knowledge on to future generations.
I am at the beginner level, pretty much just starting out, so I need help in all areas. I would like to take at least two lessons per week, as well as be given exercises to work on by myself in between.
I want a teacher that can help set me on the path to learning Hawaiian fluently, and as quickly as it is reasonably possible to do so. I would also like someone that can teach me about the culture and history of Hawaii as well.

I like the challenge of learning a new alphabet. I also am trying to improve my people and career advancement skills. My focus is to learn to read and write. My preference is the online work because I do not think I can get to the classroom from where I live. I Have learned romance languages for business but I am changing languages for business. Although I want to learn this overnight, but I need take the alphabet and numbers slowly. I do not know how many hours a week the lessons amounts to 20? 30? A woman may be easier to understand, but I do not have a preference in gender. Thanks

I used to know Danish at one point, but I have long forgotten how to speak as well as the proper pronunciation . I still have a lot of family living in Denmark, and I frequently visit and I feel its important for me to learn to speak with them.
I'd say that I'm at beginner level.
I need improvement everywhere, but especially in speaking and listening comprehension .
I am willing to dedicate as much time as possible.

I would like to learn Amharic so that i can get a job in Ethiopia. I feel like i am a beginner, i just learned the alphabet and i've memorized some words and greetings. I have about 10 hours a week that i can dedicate to learning the language. It would be nice to have a teacher who lives in Los Angeles, Ca. but i am open to learning online or via phone.
