1. Possible career advancement, but personal reasons include being able to communicate, and to understand poetry and spiritual books written in Punjabi. 2. I am a beginner but know the script and some vocabulary. 3. Need lessons/pract ice in conversation, reading, and grammar. 4. At this time, I could study 2 hours per day, M-F, plus two classes a week; however, I don't think I can afford the fees as they seem high. 5. I am at an intermediate level in Russian language, but I am mostly self-taught so there are some gaps in my grammatical knowledge. I have a fairly good vocabulary, however, as I have spent a total of about eight months in Russia spread over ten separate visits, and I regularly listen to Russian radio and watch Russian television. I would eventually like to become fluent in Russian, and I am looking for a teacher to help me in this quest. I am able to devote about 8-10 hours per week at this time.
