I lived in Kyushu for 4 years for work and will be moving back to Japan later this year. I need to review what I have already learned as well as grow in my ability to communicate in Japanese. My wife is a beginning student who also desires to learn as much Japanese as possible before we move.

I am learning Japanesse because I am enriched and fasinated with the culture ad history behind Japan. I have used Rosetta Stone for about 3 mounths and it's not the kind of hands on learning that I would prefer. I feel i need improvment on just the basics of the language. I am willing to deticated any and all the time I have to offer to learning this language. The qualities im looking for in a teacher are someone who is patient and will take the time to explain what I dont understand to me, cleart and in a way that I'm able to understand it.

My 16 year old son Lee needs some help with his Japanese class. I think a 1 on 1 would be a better enviorment for him to learn in. He seems to do ok in his class work but is failing his tests.
