I am a beginner, I learned to read basic Arabic for the purposes of reading the Qur'an as a child, but I have forgotten everything except the alphabet.
I am interested in learning to read, write, and speak Abrabic. I am thinking of moving to the middle east to work there for a year or two.
I would like to dedicate a couple of hours a week which includes homework assignments. I also want to learn how to pronounce the words well, this has been difficult for me as a native English speaker.
I am looking for an instructor who has experience with teaching native English speakers, who has a good temperment, and is enthusiastic about teaching Arabic to adults. I would also like a group setting for classes.

My husband is Syrian and we are planning a trip overseas to meet his family and I am wanting to learn basic arabic to communicate with his very large family! Hello,
I'm very eager to learn Arabic as I want to utlise these skills in my chosen profession (journalism0. I have basic knowledge of the arabic alphabets and can read the language, but unfortunately , my conversationa l and reading skills are quite minimal. I'm looking for an intensive 2-3 months programme where me and my instructor can work out a schedule whereby I may be able to achieve some semblance of fluency in the language.
I would ideally like my instructor to be a native speaker of arabic and hold a bachelor's degree at least with some teaching expereince. I work 5 days a week, but am flexible to have classes in the evenings.
