I am very interested in learning French. I am at a beginner's level and would like to learn French to expand opportunities for my career or to possibly live in a French speaking country one day. I am a nurse and someday I would like to work with Doctors Without Borders. Many of the places are French speaking where the organization sends its volunteers. Even if I do not move to a French speaking country or work with the above mentioned organization, I would still like to learn French just to know another language. I am a native English speaker and I also speak Spanish. I would like to learn French as closely to native as possible. My current job has rotating schedules, so the class times may not always be the same day every week. I am very motivated to learn the language.

I am learning French because it has always intrigued me since I was a child. It is a complex and fascinating language to take up.
I passed my beginner's exam at Alliance Francaise du Singapour about 1-2 years ago, but I was unable to continue because of career changes. I am proficient enough to speak very basic French, but at a slow pace.
I am finally ready to restart my French pursuits by having a private tutor as the schedule at Alliance Francaise clashes with mine. I would like to improve in my sentence structure and speech, and would like to be able to hold a decent conversation fully in French. I have watched a number of French movies to help me catch certain phrases that I can recall from my previous lessons.
Ideally, I would like to have lessons twice a week for about 2 hours per session to ensure there's sufficient practice.
I am seeking a tutor with affordable rates and a flexible schedule to help me in my French language lessons. The tutor should be someone who can explain the structure and foundation of the language properly, and encourages me to speak more French.
