Hello, my name is Daryl. I am a beginner-inte rmediate student of Russian; I have studied this language for one year at the University of Queensland.
I am also fairly proficient in German, and can speak French fluently. I do not have any problems with writing or reading the Cyrillic alphabet, nor (do I think) with pronunciation .
I decided to learn Russian because I am very interested in the history of Russia; I also study international relations, and would no doubt benefit in such a career by mastering several languages.
My conversationa l skills and confidence in spoken Russian, as well as more advanced grammar are the areas which I wish to work on.
I would like to do at least one lesson per week (perhaps at a cafe or another suitable venue in Brisbane) for at least the next six months, perhaps even for one year.
I am looking, above all, for a friendly and skilled tutor to help me learn this beautiful language.

My five year old Nephew is fascinated with the Russian and learning new languages in general. I only speak English, but would like to give him the opportunity to grow. He is studious and very intelligent for his age. He will need someone who can engage him with fun interactive activities that teach him the Russian language, he does not need to learn grammar (he is 5).

I am 8 years old boy and can speak fluentely Russian and English. I can write and read in English, but not Russian. My mom (of course not me) wants me to learn how to read and write in Russian too. Can you motive me and keep me interested in the process of learning?
