I have been learning Spanish for the last 6 years and want to improve to a higher level of fluency. I believe I am an intermediate Spanish speaker. I am particularly interested in improving my conversationa l skills in Spanish. I already dedicate a few hours a week listening and reading in Spanish. I think more time in conversation would be of much greater benefit.

My Wife comes from South America (Chile to be exact). I would love to learn my wife's primary language so I may communicate with her family and use it to it's full potential when I often visit South America. I am a beginner only knowing very basic words. I am looking to improve my Spanish to to carry conversations with others. I would like a teacher who is patient and easy to approach, making it comfortable and fun to learn the language.

I wish to learn Spanish as I intend to travel in Central America for six weeks in September/Oct ober 2010 and would like to have some Spanish before I travel. Ultimately, after this I would like to build on the experiences from my travels and further continue to learn Spanish.
I did a six week course in Spanish in 2002 but have not studied any Spanish since.
I would like to spend two evenings a week learning Spanish initially and would be open to learning in groups or individually.
