Dear Tutor,
We would like our son to learn to speak Chinese. As business people and people with great interests in different cultures, we estimate that learning Chinese for our children could open exciting doors in the futur.
Our 4 year old son is currently in a Chinese teaching play group for 3 hours per week. He has been in this group since September 2009 and the teacher says he is doing well. But, because neither my husband nor I speak Chinese at home, we know he is at a disadvantage and would greatly appreciate a private tutor to engage him in one on one conversation.
We would also need advice on the hours suggested for his success.

I've always wanted to learn to speak and write mandarin. I work in health care and being able to speak mandarin is a good asset. I'm a beginner and I would be interested particularly in conversationa l mandarin. I am willing to put aside 2-3 hrs a week (during the weekend) to learn this fabulous language.
