I am a Swiss citizen of French mother tongue, fluent in English and Italian. Apart of being a consultant dealing with project in China I am a great admirer of Chinese civilization and culture.
Sin ce three years I have tried to learn Chinese alone and with some private lessons. I wish I could reach a fluent level in conversation and be able to engage in simple writing business correspondanc e.
I can devote 6 to 8 hours per weeks for the lessons.

I would be a beginner and I want to learn so that I can talk to my girlfriend's family. She is Swedish but from Yugoslavian decent and her mother is Serbian and that is what she speaks. She speaks Swedish as well and but I think that learning Serbian would be better. I am looking for a teacher that can teach me both the formal and casual ways of speaking the language. I would also like to know some of the history of that region.

I am a beginner and know no Tagalog at this point. I am starting a business in Pampanga and am traveling back and forth to the Philippines.
