I want to learn French because I travel alot. I have been to France many times and have taken French in high school and college, but I am still considered a beginner. I am an avid traveler and I like to learn the basics of the native language in the countries that I visit. I am also interested in language in general, so I want to take my learning beyond the phrasebook level. I am always interested in reading and writing, as well as speaking.
My proficiencies are as follows:
A rabic - no experience
Manadarin - recognize some kanji, but don't know Chinese readings
J apanese - can read and write just a little, speaking is intermediate and listening is a little better than that; I would really like to improve reading and grammar
Fr ench - listening or reading, I can understand most things; my speaking is not as sharp, so I'd like to improve that and vocabulary

I am a beginner in French but recently started working for a French company so I would like to learn. I need to learn grammar and conversation. I need improvement at all areas. I would like lessons 1-2 nights a week since I work full time. I am looking for a teacher that can truly immerse me in the language as quickly as possible (assuming that I meet my end of studying requirements) .
