I would regard myself as beginner to intermediate.
I wish to become fluent in Korean, because I love Korea and its culture. I am an ethnographer and thus have an interest in people and their culture. I've been studying Korean independently for about a year now. I've been just learning randomly as I go, common phrases, greetings, a few verbs, sentence structure, alphabet, etc. I'm studying Korean with the hopes to one day be certified to teach it, or possibly teach English to students in Korea, although if I don't make it that far it's ok because I plan to teach French regarless :)I need overall improvement and structured lessons. I'd prefer to meet twice a week, with a lot of homework in between. I'm looking for a native Korean, preferably female, who is friendly, patient, and challenges me to learn quickly.
