I am just beginning to learn Korean as I am on a nine month project in Seoul. Over the next 9 months I will be working in Gangnamgu, Seoul for up to two weeks each month. English is my native language, and I also have some experience with French, and limited Spanish and Portuguese. Unfortunately , I am just beginning to learn Korean. So far I have started to learn the characters from a book, but that is the extent of my studies. I hope to have at least two in person lessons a month. Additionally, I would like to have written study materials and recordings that I can use to study on my own.

I currently speak no Korean other than basic greetings. Therefore i am looking for a very basic beginners level. I want to study Korean as i plan to live in Korea for a few years and would like to leave knowing the language. I work days a week so learning time is difficult. I would like to spend either saturday or sunday learning in person. I would like to learn for a few hours after work via email and other means. The qualities i am looking for from my tutoer is patience in correcting me when i get things wrong.

i dont know any korean as of yet, but i really want to learn so that i can converse with others and maybe find work in korea or open a business there.
perha ps an hour or two, 2 to 3 times a week maybe or whatever will work the best.
i hope my teacher will be understanding and dedicated to helping me understand the language
