'What proficieny level?' - absolute Beginner. Although I am also using the Rosetta Stone Software in order to help my learning process.
' Why are you learning the language?' - I am learning the language because the company that I work for is centralized out of Russia and while they all speak English, I have become good friends with many of them via the internet and have been invited to go over for a visit.
'How much time can I dedicate?' - as much as possible. I can dedicate many hours per day to the learning process.
' what qualities are you looking for in your lessons or in your teache?' - I am looking for patience and aauthenticty in my insttuctor. someone who is either native to Russia or who has a thorough aauthentic proficiency in Russian as well as cultural knowledge (ie. has lived/worked in Russia) who can accurately teach me the way they speak in Russia and not just arbitray grammatically 'correct' rules of Russian.

Hello,
My name is Miranda Lucero. My husband and I are interested in learning to speak Russian. We have absolutely no experience in the Russian Language at all. I can understand small amounts of French, and my husband is able to understand a little Spanish. We would like to have private lessons preferably once a week to every other week on Sunday's or late in the day during the week. I am new to all of this and I would like to know how this works. I would love to visit Russia next year and be able to communicate.

I am almost a beginner in Russian. I know how to read the alphabet and have learnt a little how to write it. I know some basic verbs and verb forms and can understand those when listening.
I need to learn all basic phrases to communicate with my husband's family on a daily basis, to get around Tashkent, and in future, so I can use it to communicate in a job.
I want to study intensively for 3 months, up to 10 hours per week.
I am looking for a teacher who speaks Russian as a native speaker, or an Uzbek speaker who is fluent in Russian. I would like a teacher who will be flexible and able to adapt lessons to suit my needs and interests.
A teacher who is patient, loves travelling and has experienced many cultures and is open-minded/n ot hypocritical will be perfect for me.
