I want to learn 3rd language for my self improvement, career advancement and business purpose.
I never lean any Japanese or Mandarin cause before. I should start with beginner programs.
It's good for me if i really do understand, can read and write in the language that i'll learn.
The class should depends on my progress. It should be 1.5 hrs/lesson. Maybe it can be up to 10 lesson.
It should be a very easy going teacher and very passion type.

I would like to learn Mandarin Chinese to use in Business situations and travel to Mainland China.
My proficiency level is complete beginner, although I hope to grasp the language quickly.
I would like to have 2 or 3 evenings per week private classes of 2-4h per class. I might find 1 or 2 extra persons interested, although prefer to start on my own.

I have several people working for me based in Shanghai and Taipei. I am interested in leaning Chinese (Mandarin) so I can have more meaningful conversations with them. My goal is to be able to conduct a staff meeting in almost exclusively Chinese Mandarin (a SUPER goal would be to do a presentation in local language).
When it comes to Chinese (Mandarin), my proficiency level is beginner. However I already speak another phonetic language and I studies French for more than four years (not fluent and really hope to learn 'thinking' in Chinese (Mandarin) versus 'translating in my head' from English to Chinese and back. I would like my learning to focus on conversation and advance to writing (pinyin or kanji). I am willing to commit 3hrs per week to in-person teaching plus homework and other practice as assigned. I am looking for a teacher who can train me in conversationa l Chinese (Mandarin) by teaching me to think in Chinese (va translating into English). I have travel to china in Late November and it would be terrific to 'wow' my team win some genuine conversation beyond 'nihao', 'Xie Xie', and 'bukeqi'.
