I am a beginner, although I do know the alphabet. (I have studied Arabic for some time and also know some Farsi).
I have a longtime interest in Central Asia (as well as Iran and the Middle East).
I am pretty capable of learning grammar independently , but I need a teacher to develop a good pronunciation and conversationa l skills.
I would be able to study for an hour a day, at least.
I am very flexible in working with teachers who have many different approaches to teaching (and will provide references from other teachers I have had, if so desired).

I am familiar to Pashto but have never formally studied it. I would classify myself as a beginner. I am interested in becoming proficient in all aspects of the language (speaking, reading, listening). I excel quickly at languages so I would like to work at a quick pace and use challenging texts/materia ls. I would like to dedicate around 10 hours per week to my study. I would like a tutor with previous language teaching experience who can help me with all aspects of the language (including grammar and syntax).
