I've taken a year of Italian in college, but have forgotten a lot of it. I want to know the language of my ancestors to better understand the culture, and to be able to communicate with family and friends in Italy when visiting. I think I need more work on conversation. I learned a lot of verb conjugation, but don't remember it all. I'm confident it will easily come back to me! I think I could dedicate 2 classes per week with a private insturctor, in person or online. I'm available mostly evenings, and am looking for a teacher who can accommodate. I like teachers who push and encourage their students, and earnestly care about their progress.

i have very little knowledge of italian and some spanish (which i was told by a friend may help?). i want to learn italian as i am visiting relatives in december and want to be able to make some conversation with them. i can dedicate as much time as it takes and i have some italian speaking friends i can practise on. i am a fast learner and pick up skills quickly and i want someone who will push me to learn more.
