I could be classified as a beginer as i am able to understand basic sentences in Italian and am able to speak basic Italian.
I would like to learn to speak good Italian as i work in an Italian cruise company and it would help a lot if i was able to speak good Italian.
I would like to just be able to spaeak and understand Italian.
I have about one and half month starting from today. I can spend at least an hour everyday learning Italian.
I am basically looking for somebody who has a good knowledge of Italian and English so i will be able to learn faster.

I have very little knowlege of Italian, and will be starting off as a beginner. I have some knowledge of French and Spanish that may help.
I'm seeking to learn because I would like to speak at least one other language and though Spanish may be more functional, I work in an environment that puts me in touch with many native Italians and I have developed a love and passion for the culture. It'd be very cool to be able to speak with them in their language.
I work full time (plus some) but I'm dedicated to learning, so how much time I'm willing to spend depends on what is necessary.
A s for what I'd look for in a teacher, I'd preferr a native speaker who can pace my lessons based on how quickly I can move through the material. Flexibility is key, as I have a forever changing schedule and it may be difficult to arrange for a rock solid schedule. I'd also prefer someone with some experience in teaching language vs. someone whose sole qualification is that they are a native speaker. (having a talent doesn't always translate into being able to teach it)
